Jiyoung's Expertise

Jiyoung is a research associate on the global equities team, assisting in covering the consumer and industrials sectors. Prior to joining Ariel, Jiyoung was a senior manager at the Korea Exchange (KRX), the securities exchange operator in South Korea, where she spent eight years developing a deep understanding and expertise in public capital markets. She held various roles in business development, strategy and operations, product development and regulations. Jiyoung earned a BA in statistics and economics from Ewha Womans University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
