James M.'s Expertise

Jim is the retired chief investment officer of the J. Paul Getty Trust, where he was responsible for the endowment that underwrites the Trust’s art museum, acquisitions, grants and art conservation activities. Previously, he served as president of Harbor Capital Advisors and the Harbor Mutual Funds. He also spent nearly 30 years with Ford Motor Company, most recently managing the company’s pension plan. Jim serves on the board of SEI Mutual Funds, where he is the lead independent director. He holds a BS in engineering from the University of Michigan and earned an MBA in finance from The University of Chicago.
