Henry's Expertise

Henry is a senior quantitative analyst on Ariel’s emerging markets value team, specializing in all aspects of quantitative research for the portfolio. Before Ariel, Henry spent 11 years at AllianceBernstein (AB) where he most recently held the positions of senior quantitative analyst and portfolio manager for its emerging markets strategies. Henry joined AB after receiving a PhD degree in financial mathematics from Florida State University during which his research work was published in one of the top journals of quantitative finance. He received his BS from Nanjing University. Additionally, Henry is fluent in Mandarin and is a CFA Charterholder.
