Brent's Expertise

With more than 25 years of experience, Brent oversees Ariel’s international trading efforts across the firm’s global and emerging market strategies. He joined the firm in 2011 and helped launch the international strategies and its trading department. Prior to Ariel, he spent a decade at Deutsche Bank Asset Management on the active equity trading desk where he worked on domestic and international portfolios across numerous financial vehicles and collaborated with fund managers on best execution and risk mitigation. He started his career at Bear Stearns in their management training program. Brent graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in political science.
