We have learned that an Ariel Investments employee was impersonated on WhatsApp and Telegram. This impersonator fraudulently solicited investments via cryptocurrency from users of those apps. Ariel Investments and its employees do not use WhatsApp or Telegram to communicate with clients. Ariel Investments does not accept cryptocurrency as a form of investment.
