Jim joined the firm in December 2019 and is charged with helping to market Ariel’s investment products to institutional and individual investors. Specifically, he is responsible for ensuring the Ariel brand is consistently applied and integrated across all channels. With an eye towards innovation, Jim brings 30+ years of strategic and creative leadership to our firm. Prior to joining Ariel, he served as Chief Creative Officer at Geometry, the world’s largest brand activation agency. Before Geometry, Jim was Managing Creative Director at Leo Burnett/ARC. He also held various positions at Frankel as well as boutique design firms in Chicago and New York. Jim started his career as a graphic designer at Young & Rubicam. Over the years, he has partnered with clients including McDonald’s, Intel, Coca-Cola, Sprint, Mondelez, General Motors and Adidas. He graduated magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York with a BFA in Advertising and Graphic Design.
