![]() Arielle PatrickChief Communications OfficerArielle joined Ariel Investments in 2020 and sits on the firm’s Operating Committee. She leads an integrated team that handles media relations, government affairs, philanthropy, internal communications, corporate and executive leadership communications, branding, and marketing. She also represents Ariel on the Investment Company Institute (ICI) Public Communications Committee. Prior to Ariel, Arielle worked for Edelman, the world's largest communications consulting firm. There, she served as Executive Vice President & Transaction Director in the Financial Communications & Capital Markets practice. She formerly held a variety of positions at global PR firm Weber Shandwick, a subsidiary of IPG, within its Financial Communications, Crisis Communications & Issues Management, and Corporate Reputation Management practices. In her spare time, she is an investor in two early stage companies and an advisor to a venture capital firm; sits on the Board of Directors of Yellowstone National Park's foundation; the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Public Relations; the Board of Directors of The Harbor Sciences & Arts Charter School; the Steering Committee for the Young Fellows of The Frick Collection Museum; and the President's Council of The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. She is also a Founding Member of Chief, a private club for senior women executives. Arielle graduated with an AB in Classics from Princeton University.
