Arielle Patrick

Chief Communications Officer
Arielle joined the firm in 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of the firm's communications. As a corporate strategist and creative, she oversees Ariel's media relations, public and community affairs, internal communications, corporate and executive leadership communications, branding, and content marketing initiatives. Prior to Ariel, Arielle worked for Edelman, the world's largest communications consulting firm. There, she served as Executive Vice President & Transaction Director in the Financial Communications & Capital Markets practice. She formerly held a variety of positions at global PR firm Weber Shandwick, a subsidiary of IPG, within its Financial Communications, Crisis Communications & Issues Management, and Corporate Reputation Management practices. In her spare time, she is an investor and advisor to two early stage tech companies; sits on the National Advisory Board for Yellowstone National Park's foundation; the Board of Directors of The Harbor Sciences & Arts Charter School; the Steering Committee for the Young Fellows of The Frick Collection Museum; and the Alumnae Board for the Princeton Tigerlilies. She is also a Founding Member of Chief, a private club for senior women executives. Arielle graduated with an AB in Classics from Princeton University.

Senior Vice President, Brand
Jim joined the firm in December 2019 and is charged with helping to market Ariel’s investment products to institutional and individual investors. Specifically, he is responsible for ensuring the Ariel brand is consistently applied and integrated across all channels. With an eye towards innovation, Jim brings 30+ years of strategic and creative leadership to our firm. Prior to joining Ariel, he served as Chief Creative Officer at Geometry, the world’s largest brand activation agency. Before Geometry, Jim was Managing Creative Director at Leo Burnett/ARC. He also held various positions at Frankel as well as boutique design firms in Chicago and New York. Jim started his career as a graphic designer at Young & Rubicam. Over the years, he has partnered with clients including McDonald’s, Intel, Coca-Cola, Sprint, Mondelez, General Motors and Adidas. He graduated magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York with a BFA in Advertising and Graphic Design.

Senior Vice President, External Affairs
Adam joined Ariel in 2019 and is responsible for the firm’s external affairs. Specifically, he manages public and government relations as well as community affairs. In collaboration with our marketing and investor relations teams, he oversees all media initiatives and supports the promotion of Ariel’s global brand in the industry. Adam came to Ariel from SKDKnickerbocker, a public affairs firm based in Washington, where he provided strategic counsel to a range of corporate and non-profit clients. Previously, he was the communications director at the Democratic National Committee and served as deputy assistant secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department where he led strategic communications efforts for several domestic finance issues. Earlier in his career, Adam served as the press secretary for House Majority Whip James Clyburn and in the office of former Senator Chris Dodd. Adam graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Government with a concentration in International Relations.
