Ariel Investments uses industry "best practices" to ensure the confidentiality and safety of your information and transactions.  In addition to using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to ensure the authenticity of your connection to Ariel's servers, 128-bit encryption to foil attempts to intercept and decipher the information being sent, and virus protection and firewalls to protect against corruption or unauthorized access to information, Ariel also employs redundant data centers and backup systems and websites to ensure that even in the event of an emergency, your information and accounts will be secure and accessible.

In addition, Ariel has policies and procedures in place that restrict access to account information to those few individuals who directly maintain the accounts or execute or review transactions.  And all Ariel employees are subject to our Ariel Code of Ethics which requires the highest levels of diligence, security and honesty.
